earth My Opinions on Earthquake Prediction earth

Questions :

There are two big questions in the study area of Earthquake Prediction :

  I) Is it really possible to predict earthquakes, especially some big and destructive ones ?

II) If it is possible to predict earthquakes, how to do it ?

The following is my brife answers to the above two questions, I may have some quite different views from some people who are working in the earth science area; but this is a free country, so please do not attack me for my opinions (~_^)

Answers :

 I) Earthquakes Can Be Predicted. The bigger and more destructive an earthquake is, the bigger a possibility existed for us to predict it. Why?

II) To predict an earthquake, we need :

  i) A correct and practical earthquake prediction theory. How?
 ii) An observation network for earthquake precursors with enough observatories .
iii) A data analysing and processing center.
iv) A good communication system.
